All staff at ASPH are encouraged to speak up when things go wrong, to ensure that that lessons are learnt, and things can be improved.

ASPH colleagues have several ways to speak up to raise any concerns which are explained in our Freedom to Speak Up Policy. This includes ASPH Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) Guardian and Here 4 You Champions.

The FTSU Guardian supports colleagues by providing confidential advice and support for anyone concerned about patient safety and/or the way their concern has been handled.

ASPH’s Freedom to Speak Up Guardian is Elizabeth Tysoe. Our designated Non-Executive Director is Jane Dickson.
